*NOTE* Please ensure all requests for alarm code access are submitted by the site AD or includes the site AD's approval in the ticket.

All alarm code requests need to be submitted 24 hours prior during business hours to ensure code has been properly synced to the panel.

Arming the System:

Locate the alarm panel at the location. Ensure you know the path from the panel to the exit, as there is a 15 - 30 second timed delay when arming the system before it is fully active.

Please make sure there is no one left in the clinic/pharmacy before arming.

Ensure that the alarm panel has only a green check mark, as pictured below.

Green Check Mark:

Type in your 4-digit alarm code. A red lock will appear if the alarm was set properly.  Proceed to the exit and ensure the door is shut and locked.

No Green Check Mark:

Please check for open entry/exit points to make sure they are all shut properly. Verify there is no one left in the area being armed. If you are still experiencing issues after checking all sites, please reach out to IT via Teams or provided phone numbers.

Disarming the System:

When you walk into the armed location, proceed to the alarm panel and type in your 4-digit alarm code. There is also a 15 to 30 second delay until the system starts going off.

Issues Arming/Disarming:

If you have any issues arming the system, please REMAIN ON SITE until a member of IT tells you that you may leave. Reach out to a member of IT via Teams or with the provided phone numbers.

Reaching out to IT:

Please reach out to the member of IT that has announced themselves in CHN Ops Teams Chat as being IT After Hours.

*We request text or teams over call so that we do not miss a call from the security company regarding the alarm system*
