When a virtual appointment is set to "Virtual start (Vonage)", the patient will receive a link invitation as a text message that will look like this:
We will show you how to allow permissions to access camera and microphone for both iPhone and Android phones.
For iPhone:
Please click on the link provided in the text and it will direct you to Safari (Or a different internet browser if you have it as a default) and this will appear on your screen:
Please select "Allow" to enable access to the camera and microphone on the mobile device.
Now you will be able to see and hear the Provider during the appointment.
For Android:
Please click on the link provided in the text and it will direct you to your internet browser and it will look like this (This is Chrome browser so if you use a different browser, it might look a little different):
Please select either "Allow while visiting the site" or "Allow this time" option.
When you select either one of those options this will appear on your screen:
Please select either "While using the app" or "Only this time" option.
When you select either one of those options, this will appear on your screen:
Please select either "While using the app" or "Only this time" option.
Now you will be able to see and hear the Provider during the appointment.
